From marksmanship to the most challenging judgmental use-of-force decision simulation, the VirTra 300 LE is an essential tool for law enforcement tactical firearms training programs. Judgmental use-of-force training mode supplies a library of realistic scenario training taken from after action reports in a highly challenging 300-degree training platform. The optional stage and audio system provides over 2,000 watts of audio, and transducers mean simulated sounds feel real and adrenal is felt during training.

Full Use-of-force Continuum Training includes support for pistols, rifles, shotguns, TASER® ECD, OC sprays, and impact devices. Marksmanship mode supports up to 15 individual firing lanes at one time with full ballistics and full marksmanship courseware. The optional Threat-Fire™ device safely simulates return fire with an electric impulse (or vibration version), reinforcing performance under pressure. Realistic and intense simulation training results in better life-or-death decision making, saving both civilian and officer lives. This 300-degree simulator is uniquely equipped to train officers to avoid ambushes and handle the most difficult of real-world situations.

Customized For Your Needs

  • Standard Version: When dedicated space is available, the standard version is recommended. Rear-projected screens require more space than the other options listed below.
  • Space Saver Version: When the simulator must share space with a classroom, the Space Saver version is ideal. Front projection screens, ceiling mounts, and special screen arrangements are designed to fit into nearly any facility – even an existing classroom. The system is professionally engineered for quick start-up when the simulator is needed.

Training Content

  • Superior, lifelike, 300-degree training: Video scenarios across multiple screens for unparalleled realism; trainees develop street survival instincts during training. Situational awareness and tactical firearm training can be refined and tested during each scenario. This motto has been proven true, time and time again: "Train as you fight, fight as you train."
  • Shoothouse courseware: VirTra has created a shoothouse training simulator that many experts consider more realistic than traditional live fire shoothouses. At close range, it is easy to tell a fake human or computer game character from a real human, and this exclusive VirTra courseware includes actors that look, move and just feel more realistic because they are interactive HD video. An ideal addition for serious CQB training is the optional tactical breach door with electronic switch to automatically start the scenario. Often used for SWAT tactical training as well.
  • Real-world marksmanship: In the real world, paper targets are not engaged; rather, hostile human forces are engaged. This is a more advanced skill-building courseware that includes moving human targets who take cover and then sprint from cover to cover. Hostile forces return fire back to the trainee who feels it as either electric impulse or vibration (see Threat-Fire).
  • Full marksmanship courseware: Software gives instructors the tools to help advance shooting skills from novice to expert; some customers have claimed over 60% improvements after simulation training. Included software can simulate indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. Optional marksmanship authoring package available.

Recoil Kits

  • Firearm recoil realism: Add life-like recoil to firearms training while using inexpensive and inert CO2 for exceptional safety (absolutely no muzzle pressure danger as with blank rounds). VirTra offers quick and non-permanent recoil kits that swap with a few parts of the real firearm, converting it to recoil for training while prohibiting a live round.
